Public Real Estate Network (PuRE-Net) is a network of more than 20 European governmental organisations. Like the Danish Building and Property Agency, they are responsible for governmental properties and building activities.
PuRE-Net works as a thinktank where leaders and employees across organizations and geographic borders can exchange knowledge and experience, compare practice and standards etc.
The primary activities of PuRE-Net is organised in different working groups, which focus on their separate part of the governmental organisation’s tasks. Here, colleagues and professionals with similar fields of responsibility from different countries gather on themes of common interest. The working groups meet annually and holds conferences when needed. The following working groups are active:
The Danish Building and Property Agency is the coordinator of the working group on strategy and business models and is besides that primarily active in the working group on cost-effective office solutions in which topics with relevance to the Danish Building and Property's work with efficient offices are often discussed.
Originally, PuRE-net was established as a network in 2007 and the Danish Building and Property Agency, and the former Palaces and Properties Agency, has been an active member since.
In 2011 the network became an official organisation and the Danish Building and Property Agency held the presidency in 2012-2014 and was thus responsible for the progress and coordination of the activities. Today, The Danish Building and Property Agency is a board member.
