The Danish Building and Property Agency has an impressive property portfolio consisting of a number of varied buildings spread across the entire country. There are both listed, cultural historical buildings and modern buildings.

The Danish Building and Property Agency's total property portfolio consists of approximately 3 million m2 state-owned property at a total value of more than DKK 49 billion, and roughly 1.3 million m2 private leases. The size of the portfolio is constantly changing in line with the local needs, which our customers are facing. The figures here are from January 2021.

Office buildings

The Danish Building and Property Agency owns office buildings on behalf of the state with a total area of 1,000,000 m2. The state-owned properties have a value of DKK 14 billion and contain 350 leases. The government properties primarily house state functions, but we also rent out premises in the government properties to private companies.

Additionally, we rent privately-owned premises for state functions corresponding to 1,300,00 m2, which contain 600 leases.

Universities

In the university category, the Danish Building and Property Agency owns about 2,000,000 million m2 on behalf of the state with a value of more than DKK 35 billion. The square meters are distributed on approximately 900 leases.
